Things I’m Obsessed With & You Will Be Too

Wow, hi. Happy Fall!! It’s been a freaking long time since I’ve been on here. How ya doin? A lot has changed since I was on here last. Things including a new job, my bf got a new job, I went on some vacations, I joined Book of the Month, lots of exciting things happening, people. Over the past few months, I’ve tried out and fell in LOVE with some pretty amazing products. This isn’t necessarily a “favorites” post because these are things I’ve been obsessed with for days, weeks, and months. Here are some of my favorite things that exist right now, enjoy and you’re welcome.

It Cosmetics Superhero ™ Elastic Strech Volumizing Mascara | $24.00 | One Broke Blonde Rating – 4.5/5

If it’s wrong to be infatuated with a mascara, I don’t want to be right. For months I’ve been searching for the perfect mascara. Granted, it had to live up to my many high expectations such as 1. makes my lashes long and sexy, 2. makes my lashes thick and sexy, 3. makes my lashes sexy, 4. doesn’t flake. I’ve finally found my holy grail mascara and my prayers have been answered by the Mascara Goddess (or God, I don’t discriminate). This mascara makes my lashes so full, long, and it barely flakes. Notice how I said barely instead of doesn’t. Even though there is still some flakiness happening with this mascara, it is DEFINITELY not as bad as others. You know when mascara chunks fall in your eye and ruin your day? Yeah, I’m trying to avoid that because it’s the absolute worst. Especially for us contact wearing folks. This mascara flakes a little bit, to be honest, but it is not to the point where I can’t wear it without my eyes tearing uncontrollably. It’s just great, take my word for it.

Miel Bebe Perfume | $18 | One Broke Blonde Rating – 10/5

THIS. PERFUME. IS. LIFE. CHANGING. Dramatic, but true. I have been on a hunt for a perfume like this for what seems like forever. When I purchased it at Urban Outfitters the cashier described it so perfectly. She said, “it smells like a sexy and sophisticated French woman” and she couldn’t be more correct. The incredible notes include mandarin, honey blossom, sandalwood, and praline. It kind of sounds like a strange combination but it works. I will be stocking up on a bunch of these in case Urban decides to remove this scent for whatever reason, so you better stock up too. It’s honestly such a perfect and cozy scent for fall and winter and I just want to bathe in it.

Book of the Month | $14.99 per month | One Broke Blonde Rating – 4/5

I’ve always been amazed and in love with writing, stories, and reading. I think the fact that someone can create a story from the deep parts of their imagination so gracefully and thoughtfully is astounding. Maybe one day I’ll be one of those people, but for now, I’ll just be a reader. I’ve been seeing ads for Book of the Month for a while now. It’s always sparked my curiosity, but for some reason I never did it. Last month I decided, what the heck. What do I have to lose…except for $15 a month, but for a book that’s well over $20 I say that’s a bargain. The clutch factor of this is that you can skip a month if you’re feeling lazy or didn’t have time to finish your current book. I chose three, and I’m still working on my first (I just got it last week so don’t judge). They currently have some amazing books for September, so if you want to snatch them up you better get on your reading glasses and head over to Book of the Month now! They also have a promo code going on right now where if you enter FALLFEELS you get an extra book FOR FREE. Like, hello impressive book collection, I see you. *This is not sponsored by BOTM whatsoever, but if BOTM wants to sponsor me I’m 100% available 😉 Btw – the author’s name is Sarah Pinborough, my big thumb was covering the P, but she’s awesome.

Bershka | Affordable & Adorable | One Broke Blonde Rating – 4/5

I’ve noticed this brand on ASOS for a while, but it wasn’t until the summer that I perused on their site and discovered that everything is amazing. They have awesome prices, awesome pieces, and I’m just in love. I didn’t give it 5/5 for the sole reason that some pieces are a little overpriced, but for the most part, 97% of the items on the site are affordable and reasonable. Here are some of my faves.

Glossier Cloud Paint in Puff | $18 | One Broke Blonde Rating – 3.9/5

I love, love, loveeee this stuff so much, but the only downfall is that I wish it lasted longer. Granted, it could be my primer or setting spray that it doesn’t agree with, but I don’t find that this lasts as long as I would like. With that being said, I really do love the color, consistency, and idea of Cloud Paint. It gives the perfect flush of color and looks so natural on the skin. It looks like you were kissed by the sun or just slightly embarrassed in the cutest way. It’s creamy, it blends well, it’s Insta worthy, it’s fantastic.

LONDONTOWN | $16 per bottle | One Broke Blonde Rating – 4/5

Having my nails done and looking pretty is exceptionally important to me. What’s also important is having healthy nails, and LONDONTOWN ingeniously create the perfect mix of both. Combining stunning colors with nail enriching vitamins, you can look good and feel good about what you’re putting on your nails. LONDONTOWN was kind enough to send me some polishes to try out for myself, and the honest truth is that they really do last for so long without chipping. The culprit of long-lasting/healthy nails is their Protective Top Coat and Fortifying Ridge Filler. They give your nails the long-lasting power as well as a blend of vitamins and botanical extracts that promote long, strong, healthy-looking nails!  I wish that the polishes weren’t so pricey, but they really are awesome and worth it! LONDONTOWN now offers some of their products at Ulta! If you want some pretty nails without destroying them, check out LONDONTOWN 🙂 For your first order, make sure you use the code, FirstTime for 30% off!

Literally anything leopard print | so cute | One Broke Blonde Rating – 5/5

I know that leopard has been in style for a while and for many years. However, this year I am seeing it EVERYWHERE and I am so here for it. I love the fact that it’s being incorporated into skirts, pants, boots, sneakers, tops, the list is endless. Here are some of my favorite leopard print pieces!

Chunky sneakers | used to hate this now I love it | One Broke Blonde Rating 5/5

This trend used to make me scrunch my face in a bit of disgust. I was not a fan of the chunky sneaker trend whatsoever, but it has actually grown on me so much so that I am actually in love with it. Paired with the right outfits they can look really adorable and add an extra unexpected and fun element to an outfit. These are some of my faves!

It feels so good to be back on here, and I hope you guys are excited and happy for me to be back as well! Leave any requests for future posts in the comments and let me know what you’re currently loving right now! I would love to find some more products to be obsessed with. I hope this post inspired you to try out some new things, and if you do try anything I suggested and love it as much as me, please let me know so we can obsess over it together, as besties do.

Londontown was kind enough to gift me with the beautiful nail polishes, but all opinions are genuine and my own. I would never/will never promote a product or brand I do not believe in.
