The weather here in NJ is FINALLY starting to cool down! Granted, the afternoons are still 80 degrees, but the mornings and nights are chilly and perfect. The other day I went apple picking with some of my family, and we had the best time! It was chilly enough for me to wear my new ultimate favorite sweater and I was way excited about it. I saw this sweater a month or two ago at H&M, and even though I knew I wouldn’t be wearing it for a while I had to snag it! It was one of those moments in movies when the main character sees something so beautiful that all the lights dim, and there is a spotlight on the beautiful object and the angels are singing from heaven. It was basically like that only not quite as dramatic. Not only is it super soft and snuggly, but there is a full on sass party on the back. The back embroidery is not itchy at all, which is really awesome because no one likes an itchy sweater. I’m all about quirky slogans and sayings on my clothes. I think it adds something fun and different and gives my outfit personality. I decided to pair the sweater with some distressed jeans, and red Keds! This sweater is super versatile though and can be worn with so many things! It would be adorable with a skirt, leather pants, leggings, the list goes on! I know I’m going to get sooo much wear out of this baby, I totally recommend it 1000%!! I’m not sure if it’s available online, so if not I’ll link something similar!! Definitely head to your local H&M to see if they have it!! 🙂

This was the best apple cider donut I’ve ever had. This is what pure joy looks like lol

How pretty are these mums???

My fam gets just as excited about donuts as I do 😉

How cute are my little cousins?? 🙂

Stay chic babes!

GUYS. I am so freaking excited about this post. You know that I’m all about affordable fashion and finding gems on a budget. Well, I recently stumbled upon this incredible brand, thredUP. If you have never heard of it before then girl, you are are about to meet your new fave place to shop. Essentially, thredUP is an online secondhand shop featuring women’s clothing, kid’s clothing, shoes, accessories, and bags!! The best part about thredUP is not only the AH-MAZING prices, but the fact that they only accept pieces that are gently worn or new with tags. So you know how sometimes we order something online thinking it’ll look absolutely fab, but then you get it in the mail and are like “wtf??”. Then you forget to send it back within the 30 day period and you’re stuck with something you’ll never wear? That’s where thredUP comes into play. And if there is an item that has more signs of love than others, it’ll tell you right under the description the condition!! You can find brands from Free People to Urban Outfitters, from Forever 21 to Calvin Klein. There are hundreds of pricy brands up to 90% off!! Literally, what more could you ask for?? Here are 5 pieces I picked up from thredUP. Since thredUp only features one of every item sold (since they are only a thrift store and not a retailer) I will link similar options 🙂

All thredUP packages come in the most adorable boxes!!

My lil pup, Noah, was not amused lol

My first pick was this suuuper comfy sweater from Pull & Bear! You can shop similar options here!

Can you get over how handsome my babe is?? 😍 Not only is he studly, but he’s the best dang photographer there is 😉

This MinkPink leaf print dress is perfect for a warm fall day! Shop more dresses here!

This is one of my new go-to jackets! It’s from Kendall & Kyle and screams fall if you ask me 😉 Shop similar jackets here!

This is probably the greatest shirt I’ve ever bought. It’s from MinkPink as well, and it’s so fun and perfect for a weekend adventure 🙂 Shop more tops like this here!

I saw this top at Urban Outfitters a while ago, but it was a little too pricy for what it is. I was so excited when I saw it on thredUP for over half off!! You can shop some similar shirts here!

I hope you enjoyed reading this post as much as I did creating it!! I want to give some huge shoutouts to thredUP for collaborating with me on this post!! They are truly an amazing brand, and they gave me a code so you can get 50% off your order! Just use the code WOMENS50 and you’re set 🙂 Also, a big thank you to my incredible, talented, and super hot bf for taking some amazing pics of me!! This photo shoot was a two day process, but he was a champ and only complained twice 😉 Jk he’s awesome and you should give him some love too 🙂 @nickatnight55

Where is your favorite place to thrift shop?? Let me know in the comments! And let me know if you’ve ever tried thredUP before 🙂

I’m sure by now you’re aware that pumpkin spice everything has officially taken over. I’m guilty of already having quite a fair amount of pumpkin coffee and I’m not mad about it in the slightest. I am SO excited for fall because not only is the fashion amazing and the food to die for, but I love the cozy feeling, chilly weather, and fun activities 🙂 There are sooo many fun things I have planned to do this upcoming fall season, but there are also a few fashion items I have my eye on that I’m dying to get! Here are some of my fall wardrobe wishlist items!

I wasn’t sure about this trend at first, but now I am completely in love and I want to own every single pair. I think mules/loafers are a perfect fall shoe, especially transitioning into the fall from summer!! They are so easy to pair with any outfit to make it look chic and trendy! All of the shoes featured in the image are from Vici!

This is a no brainer. I think that every gal and guy has an abundance of sweaters in their closet waiting to get broken out once the chilly weather arrives in full. Even though I have plenty of sweaters, I always want more. There are always new styles, colors, fits, and designs that I want to try! Right now I’m loving the look of oversized slouchy sweaters that are the epitome of coziness. I cannot wait to wrap myself in a big, chunky sweater and buy as many as I can afford lolol 🙂 All the sweaters featured are from Love Street Apparel (one of my all time fave online stores!! It can be a little bit pricy, but buying pieces here and there doesn’t hurt 😉).

I think it’s safe to say that Mom Jeans are my new favorite style of jeans. They are relaxed, comfortable, and super trendy. They make an outfit look effortless yet put together. My favorite place to get some good mom jeans is Asos, but American Eagle, Forever 21, and other great brands sell awesome mom jeans as well! I love that this style of denim goes with sneakers, heels, flats and every shoe in between. They are a staple for fall, and I’m yearning to own more pairs!!

Being a “poser” is something I never want to be presumed as. But when it comes to band tees, that’s a different story. I think an oversized band tee is such an effortless, chic way to make an outfit look trendy and fun. So screw the people that criticize you for wearing the tee of a band you don’t listen to, because if it’s cute and sold at a store you love then you deserve to wear the heck out of it. All of these tees featured are from Forever 21!

Red. Like the infamous T-Swift album, red is the color of Fall 2017. I’m going to be honest and say I’ve probably only owned three red articles of clothing my entire life, but I am excited to incorporate it into my wardrobe this upcoming season. It is definitely out of my comfort zone, but fashion is all about exploring and testing out new things!! Here are some adorable red pieces I found at Asos!!

There ya have it! These are just a few things I’m looking forward to trying out this fall! What are some things on your wardrobe wishlist?? Let me know in the comments, I would love to know and maybe add them to mine 🙂

Jewelry is something that you either love or can do without. Some people love to accessorize with necklaces and rings and bracelets and the whole nine yards, while there are others who like to keep it simple. I’m going to be honest, I’ve never been into a blingy or chunky jewelry. I’m a very simple girl when it comes to accessorizing, and that is why Stargaze Jewelry has become my go-to spot when I want some new pieces. They offer trendy, simple, and very affordable jewelry that you are bound to LOVE. Today I’m sharing my favorite pieces and how I style them! I hope you enjoy this post and you check out Stargaze! 🙂

Opal Belle Necklace: $28.99

Opal Soleil Necklace: $29.99

Double Horn Necklace: $28.99

Celine Ring: $8.99

Estella Stack: $11.99

Another amazing thing about Stargaze is that they almost ALWAYS have killer sales going on! Make sure you subscribe to their newsletter and follow them on Instagram so you never miss a sale, restock or new release!! They are by far my favorite jewelry brand right now, and I hope they become yours too! What are some of your favorite places to get jewelry? I’d love to hear about them in the comments! Until next time, chat soon! Stay sunny 🙂

If there is one thing I am extraordinary great at; it’s shopping. I take pride in my skills of saving money, waiting for sales, and outsmarting stores by waiting for that dress I’m dying to have to get its price lowered a little. Even though I like to think of myself as an avid shopper and Queen of Steals I definitely fall into the trap of aesthetically pleasing things that I just don’t need, will never actually wear, or will promise myself I’ll use and never do. Here are the tricks I have learned throughout the years, and some tips on how to save money while shopping!

  1. Can You Dupe It? 99% of the time affordable stores like Forever 21, Windsor, Zaful, MakeMeChic, etc. feature styles that are essentially copycat of more expensive brands. If the item you’re dying to have is way out of your price range, check affordable places for similar styles, and chances are, they’ll have them! Sometimes quality is compromised when you go for cheaper alternatives, but if it’s a trendy item you probably won’t wear more then a few times then no harm, no foul 😉 Here is one of my personal favorite dupes!

Zaful Tie-Front Bikini Set: $12.99 vs. Frankies Bikinis Greer Set $170

     2.  The Outfit Test. This tactic has actually saved me from spending my money on A LOT of things. When I’m doing my usual daily online browsing and see something I love, I think to myself…is this something I can only wear in a certain season? Am I still going to like next year? Will I really wear it more than 5 times? If the answer is no, then I don’t buy it. If the answer is yes then I try to envision the outfit varieties I can make with the piece and really think if it’s worth it.

 3. Check Nordstrom Rack. Nordstrom Rack is basically the best store that was ever created. I can spend HOURS in there browsing all the amazing deals they have! Whenever I want something from a brand I generally can’t afford i.e. Free People, PAIGE, Wildfox, Jeffrey Campbell, etc. I always check Nordstrom Rack to see if it’s available there for a much better price! Sometimes the exact item I’m looking for isn’t available, but I always find something I like 🙂 Here are some of my faves from Nordstrom Rack!

      4. Go to Sale Section First! I’ve mentioned this in a post before, but 99% of the time the sale section is where it’s at. It’s very hard to bypass all the beautiful newness a store has to offer, but if you are online shopping it’s much easier, trust me. The first thing I do when I online shop is I go right to the sale section, especially for stores that are more pricy. Don’t think that because it’s the sale section the items won’t be cute. Chances are they’re there in the first place because the store had the items WAY overpriced, and no one in their right mind would spend that. But you were the smartypants who waited for the item to go on sale and saved a buttload of money! Go you 😉 Here are some of my favorite places with KILLER sale sections and pricy non-sale items lolol.

       5. Plan What You Need. If there is anyone on this planet who is guilty of impulse buys it’s this girl. Even though I am on a budget and don’t have $75 to spend on shoes…I do sometimes. But hey, we have all been there at one point or another and I’m definitely working on my problem. To avoid this happening to you though, make sure before you go shopping you know what you need and you only have eyes for that. So when you see those beautiful $200+ purses in the window, know that you DO NOT NEED IT. Unless you like really do and that’s what you went to the mall for in the first place, but you get my point. Try your hardest to only get what you went for and nothing else. It might even help if you only bring a certain amount of cash with you and no credit or debit cards, so once you’re out of money you’re out.

I hope at least one person found these tips helpful, and I could save you some time and money! Let me know if you want more posts with advice like this! I would love to do them 🙂
