What’s up broke babes?! So a few weeks ago, I caved and I put in quite a hefty order on glossier.com. I’ve been seeing the aesthetically pleasing brand EVERYWHERE, and decided to try it out for myself. I mentioned in my last post that I was dyinggg to try it. And I did. HolyGuacamole. When I say that this is the absolute greatest my skin has felt/looked in a long time I’m not exaggerating. My skin is glowing, ridiculously soft, and feels insanely healthy!! I owe it all to Milky Jelly Cleanser, the Priming MoisturizerBalm Dotcom, and Solution. Honestly, there is no greater combination in existence. I’ve been lucky that my skin has never been acne prone. Of course I struggle with blemishes like any normal person, and I do have VERY dry skin. Milky Jelly Cleanser has ultimately made my skin radiant and my skin tone more even in a little more than two weeks! I’m very proud to say that I have been sticking to my new years resolution to take better care of my skin! I’ve been washing my face with Milky Jelly Cleanser twice a day every day and I have genuinely noticed a difference in my skin! My makeup is also applying better because it has a better base to work with! Overall Glossier gets too ginormous thumbs up from me, and it is my goal to own every single item on their site. I just wanna lay in a pool filled with Glossier products….is that weird?

As for the makeup side of Glossier; I only purchased one product, the Cloud Paint. I got the color Puff, and I absolutely adore it. It gives me the “oops you made me blush” effect and it’s just perfect. It’s so easy to blend and build up to give the perfect amount of color to the cheeks!

One of the best things about Glossier (besides literally everything) is that they are pretty affordable! Skincare is the one thing I believe in splurging a bit on since it is so important, but when I find brands that make my skin AND wallet happy, that is the greatest combination in my book 😉 Glossier also has the most pleasing and beautiful packaging, website, and social media presence out there, so that’s another win. I could honestly go on and on about how much I’m in love with Glossier, but instead of boring you I’ll just show you some pics instead 🙂

I hope you guys enjoyed this post!! If you have any requests, comments, or a fave Glossier product leave them in the comments! Chat soon, babes!

P.S. This post is not sponsored by Glossier, however, Glossier if you see this hmu.

We did it folks, we made it through the first week of 2018! There are so many new products I’m dying to try this year, and you should too if you haven’t. It can be like a product journey we can go on together 🙂 I’m excited to say that I have already treated myself to some of these products, and I cannot wait to try them out and let you know what I think!

I think it’s safe to say that Glossier. is hands down the most aesthetically pleasing brand out there. Their marketing and branding is ON POINT because I’ve been wanting to try everything on the website for so long. I recently decided to treat myself with my Christmas/birthday money and try some things out! I purchased the Glossier Phase 1 Set, the adorable Cloud Paint, and the impressively shiny Lip Gloss! I cannot wait for these products to come in so I can test them out and let you know what I think!! I’m hoping for some new holy grail products 🙂

A few weeks ago I got an email from the sweetest lady, Mengju, the owner and creator of The Brush Bar. Before she reached out to me, I had never heard of the brand before. I am so glad she reached out to me though, because I think it is such an awesome concept! Essentially, the brush bar is a tool to make cleaning and drying your makeup brushes 10 times easier. I’m about to get real gross and honest up in here and admit that I NEVER clean my makeup brushes. I know, it’s a sin and uber disgusting but I honestly never feel like it or think about it! The Brush Bar makes it so easy to clean your brushes, and store them afterwards. To be completely honest, the first time I tried the brush board I wasn’t 100% sold. It took me a while to get my brush completely clean, but that was only because I’m a grosso and never cleaned it before. I wasn’t sure if it would be able to clean my dingy brushes, but low and behold – it did! I tried it with some more brushes, and I became a believer. The Brush Bar is honestly genius, and I don’t know how I’ve survived without it in my life. Don’t be like me, clean your makeup brushes. If you want to try The Brush Bar, Mengju was sweet enough to give you guys a discount code – BROKEBLONDE15 for 15% off your first purchase! (I receive no commission from this whatsoever, it is just to help ya out) :). I did receive The Brush Bar products at no cost, but all opinions are my own and 10000% honest.

Not only does this brand have the best freaking name on the market, but it is one I have been wanting to try for so long. As one broke blonde, I cannot afford to buy $90 night cream or $70 oil. However, since one of my resolutions this year is to find a skincare regime I swear by, I hope I can try out at least one product eventually! I have heard nothing but great things about Drunk Elephant so I’m really eager to try it out! Plus once I give it a shot I can try to find some affordable dupes because that’s how your girl rolls 😉

I feel like I am so late to the Ouai train, but I have heard nothing but rave reviews about this brand. I can’t believe I haven’t tried it yet!! Haircare is another thing I tend to put on the back burner that I want to start getting more into. I’ve used so many texturizing sprays and hair oils but nothing has thoroughly impressed me, so I’m excited to see if I find what I’m looking for in Ouai! I really want to try the cult fave Wave Spray, the Treatment Masque, and Rose Hair and Body Oil just to name a few 🙂 If you’re a fan of Ouai let me know what I should try!!

Staying on the topic of haircare, Love Beauty & Planet is another brand I would love to try! It’s super affordable and available at one of the best stores on the planet (Target). What’s awesome about this brand is that while the shampoo and conditioners make your hair look and smell amazing, the brand is using recycled materials to shrink our carbon footprint AND the products are made without parabens, silicone, it’s vegan, and all other sorts of good stuff. It pretty much sounds like it’s gonna make my hair really happy and healthy. I don’t know about you, but I plan on heading over to Target asap 🙂

Since I’m super nosy, I would love to know what you’re looking forward to trying out this year! I think it’s 100% cool and well deserved to spoil yourself with something you’ve had your eye on for a while, and this is the year for that! If you’ve tried out anything I mentioned let me know in the comments! 🙂
