Shoes Every Fashionista Should Own

Let’s face it, shoes are addicting. Once you buy one, you have to buy them all…for every occasion or situation, ever. In my eyes, I don’t think it’s a problem at all. You can never have enough shoes, and I intend to keep adding to my already plentiful collection. While all shoes deserve a home and to be loved, there are just some staples that every lovely lady should have in their wardrobe.

Sneakers

I looooove sneakers so, so much. I love that there are so many varieties! They add a sporty put together look to any outfit; it’s perfect. Some sneakers are more casual, some have some fancy details but they are all equally fabulous. You honestly can’t go wrong with a pair of Adidas. Throw them on with any outfit and you look sporty, yet adorbs.

Slip Ons

Let us not confuse slip ons with sneakers, because believe it or not they are quite different. Slip ons tend to be a little less casual than sneakers, but still of course have the ability to dress down an outfit depending on what they look like. My favorite ones are from Steve Madden. I know they’re a bit pricy, but your girl got them on Black Friday for a discounted price so I don’t feel as guilty 🙂 Slip on shoes look perfect with distressed jeans, dresses, shorts, and even lounge pants! The possibilities are endless.

Over-the-Knee Boots

This one is pretty much a no-brainer. Every gal should own at least one pair of over-the-knee boots because they go with everythinggg. You can wear them with jeans, dresses, skirts, and shorts! I don’t think I could survive the fall and winter without my boots. If you don’t have a pair yet, what are you waiting for?!

Booties

I’m going to be honest and say that only recently did I get into wearing booties, but now I’m never going back. I love how they add a little height and a little something extra to an outfit. They are perfect for accentuating  your legs if they’re worn with dresses, shorts, or skirts! They are a great shoe for the fall and winter, but can also be transitioned into the spring and summer as well!

Mules/Clogs

At first I was skeptical about these, but I have since grown to adore them! Mules and clogs are an awesome transition shoe into the spring, and depending on the weather you can get away with wearing them in the winter as well (just make sure your feet don’t freeze). I only have one pair right now, but I definitely want to get some more in different styles! I think this is such a funky trend and I’m excited to rock them some more in the warmer weather!

Flats

I was never a big fan of flats until I bought these beauties last spring! They are Steve Madden as well so they were another impulse buy, but I was eyeing them for so long that I decided to snag them before they were gone. These flats are so comfortable and so chic. I love how they add a feminine touch to any outfit, and instantly make it look sophisticated and put together. I feel like most flats have that affect on outfits, and I really like the simple, elegant touch they offer.
