Get to Know: Winky Lux!!
Last week I introduced a new series called, “Get to Know ___” with the brand Mikasa Beauty! If you haven’t seen that post you should definitely check it out because I have a really get discount code for you guys there and I show you some really fabulous products 🙂 This week I want to tell you guys about one of my new favorite brands, Winky Lux. If you receive ipsy bags then you might have gotten a sample of their Diamond Complexion Powder which is essentially the most magical thing you’ll ever put on your face, but I’ll go into that more later 😉 I reached out to Winky Lux a few weeks ago, and they were kind enough to send me some products to review for you guys!
Before we get into the review, I want to remind you all that I never agree to talk about a product unless I truly love it and think it is worth your time and money 🙂
Now besides having a really freaking adorable name Winky Lux is a makeup brand that offers high-quality makeup for an affordable price. Here is an excerpt of their mantra from their website for you guys to get a better idea of the product and brand. I love the way they wrote this, so instead of paraphrasing here is the Winky Lux motto.

When I opened this lip balm I just about fell over. This has got to me the most favorite thing I was gifted and my new favorite lip balm for the rest of forever. Not only is there a FREAKIN’ FLOWER inside this insanely smooth balm, but it smells like a tropical heaven with notes of coconut. It goes on clear, but reacts with the pH levels in your lips to create the perfect shade of pink just for you. Is this a miracle product or what? It’s only $14 which is totally amazing and an added bonus 🙂
If you’re like me, then you try to avoid glosses for the fear of sticky tackiness that makes your lips look and feel like a goopy mess. With Glossy Boss though, that is not an issue whatsoever. This gloss is so smooth, and it’s infused with Vitamin E so your lips are getting some extra love and care. It’s not sticky at all and it offers a gorgeous shine. This particular scent is made with real vanilla extract for an authentic birthday cake scent, and who doesn’t love that?
This lipstick is hands down the smoothest, creamiest lipstick I’ve ever worn. Not only is it super hydrating and pigmented, but the colors are sooo beautiful. I absolutely hate when lipsticks make my lips feel like a desert, but this does the complete opposite. While offering an incredible color it also makes my lips look and feel refreshed and healthy. I adore this lipstick and I will absolutely be getting it in more shades!
I honestly can’t rave about this product enough. As I mentioned before, I got a sample of this in my ipsy bag a while back and I LOVED it. It’s so silky smooth and makes my skin look and feel flawless. I’m wearing it in all the pictures above so you can see what it looks like on 🙂 When I wear this my skin looks so healthy and naturally glowy. This powder is made with finely crushed diamonds to illuminate the skin. It’s velvety smooth and definitely a new essential item for me!
