Happy Earth Day peeps!! It’s a gorgeous day to get out and save the world. I’m extra excited for today’s post because I have collaborated with one of my favorite brands, thredUP! I’ve done a few posts with them in the past, and you guys seem to enjoy them as much as I do! If you haven’t seen my previous posts with thredUP (1. you should check it out here, and 2. here’s some inside to the amazing brand.) Essentially, thredUP is an online thrift store carrying name brands for up to 90% off! The pieces they carry are all very gently used or new with tags! You can find some amazing gems on there, and save a ton of money (and the Earth) at the same time. Talk about a win-win situation amirite?
Since thredUP is all about reducing waste and helping out Mother Earth, they have an amazing campaign going right now called Project Re:Made. What is Project Re:Made? Well, it’s pretty awesome. thredUP has collaborated with 12 artists and asked them to design some artwork around the topic “Climate Change Is Not Real”. These artists came up with some pretty amazing, sassy, and punny pieces and they were printed onto recycled tees. All the proceeds from this campaign are going to Cool Effects, an organization whose mission is to reduce carbon waste. I picked up a tee and I can’t wait to style and sport it! You can find some tees here! A lot sold out super fast, but you can be notified if it comes back in stock! If you want to know more about this campaign and how you can get involved in fighting against climate change check out thredUP’s blog post! If you’re feeling really inspired, make sure you check out some of thredUP’s fave eco-bloggers as well! These babes are awesome and an inspiration to us all.
How are you going to make a difference this Earth Day? I don’t know about you, but I’m going to wear my recycled clothes from thredUP and save the world in style. Let me know how you plan on making a difference in the comments! I would love to hear! Also make sure you check out thredUP’s campaign and just in general, I promise you won’t be disappointed in the slightest! 🙂
Happy Earth Saving!
